Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for the trek.

Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,280 m flying in Druk Air and drive to Thimphu 2,320 m- 54 k.m driving distance - 02 hrs and transfer to hotel with afternoon tour of Thimphu.

Day 04:Thimphu / Punakha(75 Km, 3 Hrs): After breakfast visit Thimphu valley.

Day 05:Drive to Punakha / Wangduephodrang and to Paro (150 Km, 5 hrs)

Day 06: At Paro with sightseeing at places of great interest.

Day 07: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Bhutan Festival Tour with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal and Bhutan more enjoyable and worth-while with us.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Bhutan trips.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture, after an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Bhutan Festival Tour.

Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,280 m flying in Druk Air and drive to Thimphu 2,320 m- 54 k.m driving distance - 02 hrs and transfer to hotel with afternoon tour of Thimphu.

As per flight time for Bhutan depart from the hotel and transfer to Nepal international air-terminal where a short scenic flight of about an hour takes you to land in the country of Thundering Dragon in Paro, country international airport.

Where our Bhutan representative a native guide receives you for drive to capital of Bhutan in Thimphu (the one and only city in the world without a traffic lights), on reaching at Thimphu check in at respective hotels, after lunch visit the memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school.

Afternoon Thimphu sightseeing tour of weekend market, Mini Zoo and Tashichoo Dzong, hike to Cheri Monastery, visit hand-made paper factory, 13 Arts and Crafts institute, museums, see people playing archery, stroll around the city and a night in down town Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu / Punakha(75 Km, 3 Hrs): After breakfast visit Thimphu valley.

In Thimphu visit Trashichhoe-Dzong, around beautiful medieval fortress and monastery which houses most of the Government’s office and King’s Throne room It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot.

Later visit textile and Folk Heritage Museums, a fascinating testimony of Bhutanese material culture and living traditions, after lunch visit Handicrafts Emporium which displays wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products.

A short drive to Memorial Chorten, the stupa built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King a popular head regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. The paintings and statues inside this monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy. Late afternoon drive to Punakha across Dochula pass 3,080 m with overnight in Punakha.

Day 05: Drive to Punakha / Wangduephodrang and to Paro (150 Km, 5 hrs)

After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong, built strategically at the junction of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to serve as the religious and administrative centre of the region, Punakha Dzong has played an important role in Bhutan’s history. Damaged by four catastrophic fires and an earthquake, the Dzong has now been fully restored. Then drive to Wangdiphodrang visiting Dzong and local market. The district of Wangdiphodrang is also famous for its bamboo products, slate and stone carvings. After lunch drive to Paro with a short stop at Dochula pass. En route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, it now houses the School for Buddhist studies with overnight in Paro.

Day 06: At Paro with sightseeing at places of great interest.

After breakfast our Bhutan guide will pick you from the hotel, for a nice and pleasant walk with an hour or less climb up on slow easy pace to famous Taksang Monastery (Tiger's nest). Offering amazing views of Paro and distance snow capped peaks, after a wonderful time here descend by the same route, afternoon visit of 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967.

Day 07: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.

Depending upon flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our guide transfer you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and respective destinations. For those flying back to Nepal on reaching Kathmandu airport our Aim Nepal staff transfer you back to hotel.

Day 08: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great cultural times on Bhutan At Its Best Tour, with time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for  homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
