Lobuche East Peak Climb leads you to marvelous experience which will last for your lifetime standing on top 6,119 m and 20,070 ft high overlooking fantastic panorama of surrounding high giant peaks with Everest at stone throw distance.

Lobuche East Peak Climb, one of the tough lesser mountains to reach its summit of TD grade meaning a ‘Technical Difficule’ with straight forward climb facing technical difficulties in some sections of the route to the summit, where climb leads over moraine-ice and glaciers facing rock and ice climbing within snow slopes all the way to top.
The above grading systems used from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems which popular for this style of alpine climb of a day or few days, despite its hardship leads you to enjoyable and exciting adventure throughout the walks on Lobuche East Peak Climb.

Aim Nepal Adventure has carefully planned the itinerary days and program for Lobuche East Peak understanding the nature and skill required for the climb to its summit, allowing much time for climbers with ample acclimatization days walking around high Khumbu valley and at Everest base camp with climb of high Kalapathar which provides enough practice and exercise being in high altitude for some days before the actual climb.

Lobuche East Peak Climb, which is not a popular mountain than other high Khumbu mountains where much technical skill required but possible after your hard endurance and determination to reach its summit.

Like other normal Everest Base Camp trekking, where Lobuche East Peak Climb leads you on the same direction most of the days in the comfort of nice local lodge with enjoyable time and visit around Sherpa villages of great interest as well with tour of impressive monastery on route from Lukla to our aim and target.

After walking on main trails of Everest in the comfort of lovely lodges then finally our actual adventure begins heading off the main tracks to remote corners of Khumbu valley for great climb on top Lobuche East Peak.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for the trek.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,670 m - 04 hrs.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.

Day 05: At Namche Bazaar rest day for acclimatization and short hikes.

Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,340 m - 05 hrs.

Day 08: At Dingboche rest with short hike to support acclimatization

Day 14: Trek to Kyanjima 3,560 m via Thyangboche Monastery - 06 hrs.

Day 15: Trek to Monjo 2,860 m past Namche Bazaar - 06 hrs.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla and transfer to lodge with free afternoon - 04 hrs.

Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu 30 minutes on air and transfer to hotel.

Day 18: Reserve and spare day with optional sightseeing tour.

Day 19: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Lobuche East Peak with Everest Base Camp treks includes useful information to make your stay in Nepal more enjoyable and worth-while with us.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Everest base camp trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.
After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Lobuche East Peak Climb and Everest Base Camp trek next early morning with exciting flight to Lukla around high Khumbu area of Everest.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,670 m - 04 hrs.

Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic air-terminal for exciting scenic flight to land at Lukla, a small aircraft either Dornier or Twin-Otter could be of similar types where you can witness amazing panorama of snowcapped Himalayan range of peaks with close views of Mt. Everest, as flight lands at Lukla airport known as Tenzing-Hillary airport (after legendry late mountaineers who first stepped on top Mt. Everest in 29th May 1953).

In Lukla after having refreshing stops, then walk through Lukla Sherpa town, Lukla the gateway Town for high Khumbu valley and to various adventures around Everest region, as walk leads downhill for short-while  and then on gradual winding path past nice Sherpa farm villages and tended crops and vegetable fields and terraces.

As walk encounters several Buddhist monuments Mani (prayer walls) and rows of spinning bells and into cool shade of woodland to reach our overnight stop at Phakding village located by the Dudh Kosi a glacial river.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.

Morning walks follows Dudh Kosi River upstream crossing bridges few time to reach at Monjo nice village with views of Kongde and Tharmasarku peaks with holy Mt. Khumbila in the north direction.

After Monjo enter into Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepalese while Sherpa Calls Chomolungma which means Great Mother in both languages), a short downhill and over a bridge to Jorsalle the last village before Namche Bazaar.

From Jorsalle walk on river bed with climb up after crossing the last high bridge and into cool shade of pines and rhododendron woods with views of peaks as winding uphill walks takes you at famous Namche Bazaar for two full overnights.

Day 05: At Namche Bazaar rest day for acclimatization and short hikes.

A full rest day for acclimatization at Namche, an interesting large village and town with many excellent facilities of ATM-Banks-nice restaurants and bakeries with many stores and shops, at Namche once a week Saturday Market is held which will be active and colorful to witness.

On this day one can hike on top Namche for grand views of Everest-Lhotse-Amadablam and other series of high peaks and visit its interesting museum with full information of Khumbu and Sherpa culture with various flora-fauna.

Other short hike to Everest View Hotel, where climb leads above Namche for few hours rewards you with stunning views of Everest and other high peaks, for energetic people can take walk around Khumjung and Khunde villages to observe culture and traditional life of Khumbu Sherpa located on a glacial valley.

Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.

After an enjoyable and pleasant time at Namche with rest days, morning walk leads to scenic walks on gradual wide winding trails with views of Everest and other giant peaks, as walk leads downhill to Imjatse river at Phunki Tenga, a small place with few lodges an ideal spot for refreshing break or lunch stop. Afternoon walk leads to uphill climb into cool shade of alpine forest to reach beautiful surrounding at Thyangboche Monastery facing panorama of mountains with Everest and Amadablam at close distance, here with time for tour into monastery and witness monks and priest on prayer.

Thyangboche holds an important ‘Mani-Rimdu’ a colorful religious festival where monks perform mask dance to wade evil spirits, the festival falls in the month of October as per Buddhist lunar calendar.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,340 m - 05 hrs.

Morning enjoy views of Everest, our route descends into forested areas reaching a metal bridge, from here a slow climb encountering mani (prayer) walls along the walks to Pangboche village, last permanent  village on route to Everest base camp.

From here walk leads around barren and windswept country where tree lines fades for small bushes of juniper and dwarf rhododendron (azalea). Walk leads uphill into a river gorge and then finally opens up into a wide glacial valley on reaching Dingboche with many good lodges around facing views of Imjatse or Island peaks towards east.

Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and short excursion.

Another pleasant rest day for good acclimatization, on this lovely scenic spot within beautiful Imjatse valley, where one can take a short walk uphill for best views of the valley and high mountains with views of Mt. Makalu towards east past Island peak.

At Dingboche enjoy the afternoon relaxing and marvel the surrounding scenic mountains and high landscapes.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche 4,980 m - 05 hrs.

From Dingboche climb to a ridge festooned with prayer flags and stupas, then walk on nice gradual path heading to slow uphill with marvelous scenery to reach at Thugla, where Khumbu glaciers melts into a raging river. At Thugla with possible lunch stop and rest, afternoon walks leads to steep climb on top Thugla hill where you will witness memorials of unfortunate climbers who died on climbs around mountains of Khumbu and Everest. Walk continues for another few hours on nice gradual up to Lobuche for overnight stop, a place with several nice lodges with views of Nuptse and Lobuche peaks.

Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep 5,180 m and walk to Everest base camp 5,364 m - 06 hrs.

Final day of the adventure heading towards our main highlight and final destinations to Everest Base Camp, morning starts on wide valley with slow climb to reach above
Khumbu glaciers, walking past moraine dunes reaching at Gorakshep, a place with few lodges on the junction of Everest base camp and Kalapatthar route.

Gorakshep was an early Everest base camp till 1970’s before the route moved further away to present base camp. From Gorakshep few hours walk over moraine and glacier to reach our ultimate destination at base camp with sweeping views of giant peaks of Nuptse-Lo la, Nuptse with notorious huge Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers.

In high mountaineering season this place will be active with climbers and crews with many camps set on top of moraine and glaciers. After a grand time then head back to Gorakshep for highest overnight stop of the adventure with fantastic memories of the day walks to Everest base camp.

Day 11:  Hike to Kalapathar Hill top 5,545 m and descend to Lobuche Base Camp 4,915 m.

Morning a steady climb on top Kalapatthar located above 5,545 m, highest spot on trekking beside Lobuche East Peak climb, enjoy super panorama of mountains with Everest at close distance.

After an amazing time head back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue downhill walk past Lobuche to reach isolated area within a hidden corner and at the bottom of Lobuche East Peak where base camp is set for the climb.

Day 12: Rest day and preparation for the climb on top Lobuche East Peak.

A spare and free day allowing you with final preparation for the summit bid, where you can check all the climbing gears and equipment required for the tough ascent next early morning, rest of the afternoon planning and relaxing before the great Big Day!

Day 13: Summit day to Lobuche East Peak 6,119 m / 20,070 ft - 08 hrs.

From base camp star early morning at the crack of dawn where climb leads to a steep sections on snow and ice slopes, with few vertical technical sections to cope then reaching on top of the summit of Lobuche East Peak, after a great hard climb where you feel on top of the world, rewards you magnificent views of high and giant mountains that surrounds you.

On reaching our final aim and target of the adventure with great experience of a lifetime and then safely descend on the same route back to base camp for overnight stop after a success on top Lobuche East Peak.

Day 14: Trek to Kyanjima 3,560 m via Thyangboche - 06 hrs.

Morning after feeling high in good healthy spirit carry walk for another few hours to reach at windy Pheriche valley with moderate size settlement and many good lodges includes health post run by HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association).

Walk continues down and short ups to reach at Pangboche, and then on downhill to a bridge over Imjatse River, where climb takes you to Thyangboche Monastery within green vegetation and tree lines.

At Thyangboche time to relax and enjoy the scenic views, as walk lead downhill to Phunki Tenga with climb for an hour to reach a small place at Kyanjima for overnight stop, which is on route to Namche, a pleasant and peaceful place with superb views of Everest-Amadablam and Tharmasarku with other range of peaks. Here chances of spotting some wild-life like musk deer, herd of Himalayan Thar and pheasant Danfe (national bird of Nepal).

Day 15: Trek to Monjo 2,860 m via Namche Bazaar - 06 hrs.

After a nice morning with views of Everest and adjoining peaks, leads to Namche with time for lunch break and stroll around its bazaar with stores and shops, afternoon walk downhill to Dudh Kosi River to reach at Monjo village for overnight stop before Lukla near the entrance of Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla - 04 hrs for last overnight with free afternoon.

Our last walk of the adventure, morning short trek of few hours following the same trail back to Lukla past Phakding and Ghat villages crossing over Dudh Kosi, and then with last final climb to reach Lukla town for last overnight stop around high scenic Khumbu and Everest region.

Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with free afternoon.

Early morning get transferred to Lukla ‘Tenzing and Hillary’ airport for short scenic flight back to Kathmandu overlooking mountain panorama with green hill landscapes as flight reaches at Kathmandu airport and then transfer back to your hotel, with free afternoon at leisure.

Day 18: Free and contingency day in Kathmandu and for individual activities.

Reserved as free and or contingency day,in case of flight delay and cancellationin Lukla in case of Himalayan unfavorable and unpredictable bad weather that might happen sometimes.

Day 19: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great adventure of a lifetime on Lobuche East Peak Climb and Everest Base Camp trekking, as per time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for  homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
